LOOM Sickness and Distress

Chaplain: Danny Morales

Our Prayers and Condolences go out to all the Members and Families who have lost a Loved one, are recovering from illness or are going through a difficult time. Please, if you know of a WOTM or LOOM member who is ill, has lost a family member or have passed, notify the office with details. Better to receive 100 calls about a member than none at all.

Supporting veterans is something that has always been important to the Moose. So, it is no surprise that the “Valued Veterans” program, has drawn so much interest from members, lodges and chapters.

The focus of this program is on the recognition and support of Moose veterans with an emphasis on their ongoing service to their fraternal units and communities through the Moose. The program’s tag phrase captures this well: “Moose Members Serving Then . . . and NOW!” This approach simultaneously honors our veterans while also highlighting the Fraternity’s commitment to community service.

Jose & Josie Villagomez have been raising money for Wreaths Across America for the past few years, and each year our Members have given graciously. This year should be no exception. When asked if he had a Goal in mind, Jose answered not really. So, we are throwing out a challenge to our Members to see if we can raise at least $2,500 to purchase wreaths that will be placed at gravesites in the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella. The cutoff date for donations is Friday, November 5th.
